5018 - Porsche Cam Alignment Tool Kit - 986, 987.1, 996, & 997.1

  • Tool kit is designed to service the engine timing system on Porsche 986, 987.1, 996, & 997.1 models
  • The entire kit comes packed in a custom blow-molded carrying case with the following components
    • 1 Pc. - TDC Alignment Pin used to Locks crankshaft at TDC (FT: 9595)
    • 1 Pc. - Camshaft Lock is used to position the intake and exhaust camshafts for service (FT: 9612)
    • 2 Pc. - Camshaft Supports are for holding the camshafts in position when the valve cover removed (FT: 9611)
    • 2 Pc. - Camshaft Holding Tools are used for holding the camshafts before removing the valve cover and also reassembly (FT: 9624)
    • 1 Pc. - Connecting Rod Centering Mandrel or Arbor is used to positions the small connecting rod before fitting the piston and wrist pin (FT: 9608)
    • 1 Pc. - Piston Pin Driver and Extensions are used to insert the wrist pins (FT: 9602)
  • Some components available separately:
