- Similar to #8075 but extra long 20-1/2" (521mm) for added reach
- Range: 1/2" to 2" (13mm to 50mm)
Instructions
Outside Pulling:
- Using the nuts and bolts provided, assemble the jaws to the yoke with the jaw notches toward each other.
- Thread the adjusting cone on the puller rod concave side first so that the external taper is toward each other.
- Thread the yoke on the rod, then install and tighten the large nut.
- Place the jaws evenly around the component to be pulled, then turn the adjusting cone so its taper forces the jaws tightly against the component.
- Slide the hammer against its stop repeatedly until the component is removed.
Inside Pulling:
- Using the nuts and bolts provided, assemble the jaws to the yoke with the jaw notches facing outward.
- Thread the adjusting cone on the puller rod convex side first so that the internal taper is toward each other.
- Thread the yoke on the rod, then install and tighten the large nut.
- Place the jaws inside the component to be pulled, then turn the adjusting cone so its taper forces the jaws tightly against the inside diameter of the component.
- Slide the hammer against its stop repeatedly until the component is removed.
